Chipotle Mexican Grill has unveiled “Unfolded,” a captivating animated short film highlighting sustainable farming practices inspired by its Food With Integrity mission. The film, accompanied by GRAMMY®-nominated artist Halsey’s reimagined cover of “She’s a Rainbow,” debuted today as part of a groundbreaking metaverse campaign on Roblox.

Key Highlights

1️⃣ $2 Million Donation to Universities

  • Chipotle pledged $500,000 each to four universities to advance sustainable agriculture:
    • Ohio State University: Agrivoltaics pilot (solar panels + crop production).
    • Cal State Monterey Bay: State-of-the-art greenhouse for research.
    • Colorado State University: Future of Farming Fund for K-12 agriculture education.
    • University of Florida: Grants for graduate students in sustainable farming.
  • Part of Chipotle’s $5 million commitment (2021) to support young farmers.
